Well over the weekend I put Nora's walker together. She loves the one at my mom's so I thought it would be about time to build ours and try it out! She likes to scoot backwards :)
We also tried carrots for the first time. She's not a fan.
She will find a tag on anything and HAS to touch it, put it in her mouth, and rub it.
Now she would much rather sit up and play rather than lay down. She holds herself up pretty well and braces herself when she starts to lean. She also does this weird flinger flicking thing to EVERYTHING she touches. Faces, blankets, new toys, old toys, eye balls, EVERYTHING. It's so cute though. She is always so curious to learn about everything in her environment.
And oh hey... it snowed Saturday night...
And then it just kept on snowing.....
And then Indiana turned into the arctic!
The windchill got down to -39 degrees! Indiana declared a State of Emergency and we were told to stay off the roads... threatened actually. If we tried to drive and got caught, they were giving out $2500 tickets! We were snowed in Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.... and we were getting cabin fever!!
Luckily my dad drove over in the SUV and brought us over to hang out with the family (1 block over!) So we bundled Nora up until she was hot and aggravated. We didn't have a choice! We were going to kill each other if we didn't get out of the house soon!
After hanging out with my family and playing Skip-Bo, eating dinner, and laughing.... we all felt a little better.
Bryan's missed work since Sunday and I missed Monday and Tuesday.... but we love spending time with this little munchkin. She's so smart. Nora grows and changes everyday!
Oh yeah.... and she's also a cannibal.
