Week 11

How Big is Baby: She's the size of a lime this week! Baby is about 1.6 inches long, and she's got about a 1:1 head to body ratio. She now weighs in at about .25 ounces. I can't feel it, but she's moving fluidly and gracefully in there. Her skin is see-through, but she's on her way to looking more like a baby. Her fingers and toes aren't webbed anymore. Tooth buds, hair follicles and nail beds are forming.

Weight Gain: It feels like I gained 100 pounds, but when I got on the scale Thursday, I only gained 4 pounds.

Gender: We don't really know! We're kind of hoping for a boy, but a girl would be wonderful too :)

Names: We have been changing names around since even before we conceived. We are thinking 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie??

Symptoms: Every morning and anytime I'm hungry I am NAUSEATED. I never really throw up, but my morning sickness kicks my butt with these violent gags. My eyes water and everything hurts... plus it's embarrassing!

Sleep: I usually sleep pretty well at night just as long as Bryan isn't snoring too loud!

Movement: Still too early to feel movement even though little guy is bouncing around in there

Maternity Clothes: I still love my BellaBand... and no maternity clothes yet!

Food Cravings: Hot dogs with ketchup (Dairy Queen...mmmm...)

Food Aversions: Just about anything and everything unfortunately

Stretchmarks: I'm getting some in some pretty strange places!

What I'm Looking Forward To: My ultrasound on January 7th! I can't wait to get some good news. I'm really hoping baby measures out okay.

What I Miss: Wine... roller coasters.... We are planning a babymoon in March to Disney World but I'm so sad I can't go on all of the rides

Next Drs Appointment: We have an ultrasound January 7th and our next appointment is January 24th :D

Best Moment of the Week: Christmas :)

Week 10

Week: Ten!

How Big is Baby: She's the size of a prune! Now, she's about 1.2 inches long and weighs about .14 ounces. Her body length will almost double in the next three weeks. Baby has working arm joints, and her cartilage and bones are forming. Her vital organs are fully developed, and they're starting to function. Her fingernails and hair are starting to appear too

Gender: We don't know!

Names: Still stuck on 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie

Symptoms: I have recently lost most of my symptoms... which worries me. Everywhere I read, it says it's normal though. I have developed an extreme gag reflex that gets out of control in the mornings. Any time I go by the sink or open the refrigerator, I gag violently. No pleasant... I'm hoping it means baby is growing fast!  think I have a sinus infection :(

Sleep: I am SO TIRED all of the time

Movement: Way too early for that even though this week TB says my little one is kicking and moving around a whole bunch. He's just too small for me to feel it! Hopefully by the end of January I will be feeling some flutters!

Maternity Clothes: I LOVE the Bellaband still. Stretch pants have been my best friend.

Food Cravings: Chicken sandwiches/nuggets and chocolate milk!

Food Aversions: Any leftovers in the fridge.

What I'm Looking Forward To: Feeling the baby move :)

What I Miss: Sleeping on my belly and sushi!

Next Drs Appointment: Our first one is December 21st at 9:45am

Best Moment of the Week: Feeling the accomplishment of getting almost all my xmas shopping done!

Week 9

Week: NINE! (In my 3rd Month!)

How Big is Baby: Baby is the size of a green olive now! Now she weighs about .07 ounces and measures about .9 inches. She is now a fetus! Her heart has divided into four unique chambers, and her muscles and organs are able to move independently. His eyes are fully formed; but at week nine, his eyelids are fused shut. The tiny tail your baby once had is now entirely gone and his sex organs have developed (but we won't be able to see them until week 20!)

Gender: We are still stuck on the idea of a boy, but the more I read, the more I realize my symptoms have nothing to do with the sex of the baby. Today I'm thinking "girl", but I think that's just because I'm watching Grey's Anatomy and Cali had a girl.

Names: Still stuck on 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie

Symptoms: I have been so incredibly tired. Last night I couldn't fall asleep because my heartburn was so bad. My emotions have been INSANE.

Sleep: I get SO tired around 7pm and I can sleep for like 12 hours a night

Movement: Way too early for that even though this week TB says my little one will be kicking and moving around a whole bunch. He's just too small for me to feel it! Hopefully by the end of January I will be feeling some flutters!

Maternity Clothes: I LOVE the Bellaband still. Stretch pants have been my best friend.

Food Cravings: Chicken sandwiches/nuggets and chocolate milk!

Food Aversions: Leftovers are a big No No for me right now. I think it might be for a couple reasons. My food cravings change all the time... so what I want now isn't what I'm going to want tomorrow. Also, I get nauseous thinking about bacteria growing on leftovers. It's so weird and I don't know why I do it... just freaks me out.

What I'm Looking Forward To: Feeling the baby move :)

What I Miss: Sleeping on my belly and sushi!

Next Drs Appointment: Our first one is December 21st at 9:45am

Best Moment of the Week: All the sleep I've been getting all week!

Week 8

Week: 8 (2 Months Down... and 7 More to Go!)

How Big is Baby: Baby is the size of a raspberry now! Now she weighs about .04 ounces and measures about .63 inches. This week, she's growing about a millimeter each day (CRAZY!). He's moving his arms and legs around like crazy even though he's too small for me to feel it. I read somewhere he could be getting the hiccups too! His tail is gone and now taste buds are forming! Baby's facial features become more obvious this week because lips, tongue, nostrils, and buds for teeth have developed.

Gender: We are still stuck on the idea of a boy, but the more I read, the more I realize my symptoms have nothing to do with the sex of the baby. We are trying to get out of the habit of calling the baby a "him", but it's hard!

Names: Still stuck on 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie

Symptoms: I woke up one night last week with cramps. My belly is growing... and fast! I had to get a bigger bra because I'm just growing everywhere. Even though it's still just bloat for a few more weeks, I find myself pulling my shirt DOWN to cover my belly all the time if I'm not wearing my belly band.

Sleep: I start to get REALLY tired around 7pm and want to lay down. I lay down for a couple hours and usually fall asleep around 9pm. I'm still waking up 2-3 times a night to pee. It's annoying, but I guess it just means I'm getting enough fluids. It's so hard to drink a gallon of water a day!

Movement: Way too early for that even though this week TB says my little one will be kicking and moving around a whole bunch. He's just too small for me to feel it!

Maternity Clothes: I LOVE the Bellaband. It has been a lifesaver with all of this bloating. I also bought some maternity dress pants, jeans, and pajamas from Burlington because they were super cheap! I haven't tried anything on, but I know I will need them soon.

Food Cravings: I was DYING all week for a Big Mac. I finally ate one yesterday and it was so good. I think it has something to do with the salt and the pickles. Who knows... it satisfied my craving. I was asking Ashley last night, "Why can't I crave healthy things! I'm going to get huuuuge!"

What I Miss: I'm going to miss a glass of wine on Christmas and New Years Eve! It hasn't been a big deal yet, but I do miss it sometimes. I also miss my energy.... just another month and I'll have it back...

Next Drs Appointment: Our first one is December 21st at 9:45am

Best Moment of the Week: Hanging out with Brianne and complaining about people and so much laughing. I feel like a weekly dose of Brianne is all I need sometimes

Weeks 4-7

Well, here I am! I'm baaaack to the blogging scene! Who knew I would be here two years later with a baby in my belly! Bryan and I have been talking since May 2012 and dating since July 2012. We hadn't been dating long when we decided to move in together... but we have both dated enough and we thought we were old enough to make this decision. We were searching for apartments, found a one bedroom that we fell in love with, and put in our application. A few days before we were supposed to sign our lease I took a pregnancy test and got a BFP! I was so nervous and excited! I called our landlord and told her our situation and asked if we could look at a two bedroom instead. I went to see Bryan that afternoon after work and gave him a book called "Daddy's Pregnant Too!" We were both so happy and so nervous at the same time. We went to go look at the two bedroom that day and decided that would be our home for the next 13 months.

I was in disbelief. I had to ask Megan if that was REALLY a line!

A very faint second line

There's no mistaking the results!

We have been living there for a few weeks now and we've been slowly moving in and making this place our home. So far the baby's room is a storage place until we figure out what to do. I am determined to tackle that room next month once I hit my second trimester. I just lack energy. So far, I've jut been really crabby and poor Bryan has been so good to me. My hormones are crazy and I never feel good! I make sure to tell him I love him whenever I can.

I will start posting weekly pictures probably when I get into my second trimester!

Week: 7

How Big is Baby: Baby is the size of a blueberry! The Bump says the baby has DOUBLED in size sine last week! Baby's arms and legs are now forming and he's generating about 100 new brain cells a minute!

Weight Gain: I haven't weighed myself yet and honestly I'm terrified to look at the scale! I have been SO bloated. I feel gross, but I know it will all be worth it!

Gender: Since Day 1 I have been convinced he's a boy! Bryan and I both dream about boys. We will be shocked if it's a girl!

Names: We have been changing names around since even before we conceived. We are thinking 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie??

Symptoms: I am usually hungry all the time! VERY tired... my bedtime is around 7:30pm. Bloated. Some swelling.

Sleep: I sleep pretty well AFTER I actually get to sleep. Most of the time while I'm laying in bed I feel like my blood is boiling and I get restless leg syndrome that drives me CRAZY. After I'm asleep, I wake up about 2-3 times a night to go to the bathroom. Usually I'm so exhausted, I fall right back asleep

Movement: Way too early for that even though next week TB says my little one will be kicking and moving around a whole bunch. He's just too small for me to feel it!

Maternity Clothes: I already invested in a BellaBand from Target. It was like $15 and has been totally worth it. My work pants are already uncomfortable so being able to unbutton them and wear the band has been a lifesaver. I've been so bloated!

Food Cravings: Spinach and Sour Patch Kids

Food Aversions: Hooters chicken wings, leftovers, hamburgers

Stretchmarks: Already have those... not sure if I have more or if those are the pre-existing ones

What I'm Looking Forward To: Getting my baby bump! I can't wait to look "pregnant" and not just fat or bloated

What I Miss: My morning coffee. I know most books say drinking a cup a day is fine.. but I'm attempting to give this baby everything it needs. I also miss having energy. I'm SO tired... all the time.

Next Drs Appointment: Our first one is December 21st at 9:45am

Best Moment of the Week: Seeing Evelyn yesterday! She stood by the door when I walked in and said, "Loo Loo!" and gave me a big hug and a kiss. I love that little munchkin :)
