11 Months

I can't believe my little munchkin is almost a year old! I have been working on party stuff for a couple months now. We're so excited! Here's a recap of the past month.. FULL of pictures!

Megan graduated from Valpo and we had a little bit of time to ourselves. We don't take very many pictures with just us so we decided to take a few!

My sisters!

Dinner celebration for Megan

We are so lucky to have such a nice place to go and relax. Nora loves coming to the lake because there's so much to see.
Looking over the bridge down at the dam

Those baby blues!

Swinging with her Daddy

Going down the slide
Nora is a daredevil! She can't get on or off the car by herself, but once she's on... Look out! She plows into toys, walls, and toes. She loves to cruise down the hallway, press the button in front, and dance while driving!
So determined!

So big!

Toy overload!

Miss Lenora Quinn Can:

  • Crawl like a maniac
  • Crawl/Climb over toys and people
  • Pull herself to stand on just about anything
  • Stand alone for 4-5 seconds at a time
  • Walk around furniture
  • Jump in her crib
  • "Woof" like a dog, "Baaah" like a sheep, and "Ooh ooh Ahh ahh" like a monkey
  • Say "Dada", "Hello", and "Bella"
  • Give big wet, sloppy kisses
  • Walk around the room holding our hands
  • Dance like a fool when she hears music
  • Wave bye-bye
  • Blow kisses
We've been experimenting with new food because.. well... because she demands to eat everything that we eat. She loves Cheerios, puffs, those baby Cheetos, cut up fruit, scrambled eggs, any kind of dessert, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, and just about everything else!

This kid LOVES scrambled eggs! She eats it by the fistful.

We took Nora out to the beach with my family and watched the sun set. Nora absolutely loved it!
Hanging out with Auntie Em

Loves to be tossed in the air

Nora loves her grandma!

Testing it out

Nora and her Daddy

Nora LOVES:
  • Her grandparents and aunts
  • When her Daddy gets home from work
  • Being spun around
  • Flipping herself backwards from our laps
  • Being "thrown" onto the bed (tons of giggles!)
  • Bella. LOVES this dog.
  • Her monkey security blanket. She likes to rub the tags on her face.
  • To play peek a boo!
  • Throwing a ball
  • All kinds of food!
  • Water! Baths or the pool
  • To look at pictures. She stops us in the hall to look at the pictures on the wall and points to everyone. She loves to look in photo albums so we gave her a small one. She will sit there for 20 minutes just looking at pictures. She says, "OHHHHH..... LOOKIT!" Hilarious.
This kid LOVES this dog. Bella occasionally likes her back ;)
Lookin for squirrels

Now that the weather has been warmer, we've been taking Nora outside a lot more. She loves being outside!
Sitting in the front yard feeling the grass

"Here Dad... have some grass!"

Walkin around
My beautiful Bubs

Nora DOES NOT like:
  • Being told "No"
  • Getting out of baths
  • Getting dressed
  • Getting her diaper changed (she tries her very best to escape!)
  • Strangers
This girl loves the park! Megan and I took Nora to feed the ducks and the geese were everywhere! Nora wasn't scared at all, but they were freaking us out!

Not even scared!

She was barking at the little baby geese!

This girl is a water baby! She loves water of all kinds. She loves to splash, drink the water, and play with her toys. Recently we've been putting her in the sink for baths. The tub is just too big... and she tries to crawl around for her toys! This has been working just fine :)

And OF COURSE we've been swimming :) We blew up her little baby pool the other day and it's just so darn cute. It's small, has a shade, and perfect for Nora. She loves to splash!

Look at those two little teeth!
Perfect Father's Day picture :)
