How Big is Baby: His eyes are now positioned in the front of his face, and his ears are in position on the sides of his head. Most notably, reflexes have begun! Your little one's mouth is making sucking movements, his eye muscles clench, his toes curl, fingers and hands open and close, and he may even begin to suck his thumb. Though he is still too little for you to feel, he can feel you. If you were to apply pressure to your abdomen, your baby would squirm in response!
Her brain has been developing rapidly too. Nerve cells are multiplying, and synapses, or the small junctions across which nerve impulses pass from one nerve cell to another, are forming at an impressive speed. A little lower, her intestines are developing and will soon be moving into her stomach cavity.
Gender: We don't really know! We're kind of hoping for a boy, but a girl would be wonderful too :)
Names: We have been changing names around since even before we conceived. We are thinking 1. Greyson Alexander or 2. Liam Henry or for a girl 1. Harper Elizabeth or 2. Khloe Marie??
Symptoms: The gagging has actually slowed down a little bit. I still feel nauseated if I haven't eaten, but it's getting better
Sleep: Lately I've been awake past 2am.. but that's only because I have nothing better to do than sleep til 11am!
Movement: Still too early to feel movement right now... but hopefully I will feel him by the end of the month
Maternity Clothes: I still love my BellaBand... and no maternity clothes yet!
Food Cravings: Veggies and Dill Veggie Dip! Lots of it!
Food Aversions: Nothing I can think of
Stretchmarks: I'm getting some in some pretty strange places!
What I'm Looking Forward To: My ultrasound on Monday! I can't wait to get some good news. I'm really hoping baby measures out okay.
What I Miss: Wine... roller coasters.... We are planning a babymoon in March to Disney World but I'm so sad I can't go on all of the rides
Next Drs Appointment: We have an ultrasound January 7th and our next appointment is January 24th :D
Best Moment of the Week: Playing Dance Central and Rock Band with Megan, Emily, Mike, and Bryan on NYE!
